Craft Swap 'Coin Purse'

A couple of months ago, i joined this group on Facebook, Ibu-Ibu Hobi Crafts. For me, it is a very encouraging group. Once a month, the group makes a craft swap event. It is a free event which every member in the group has the right to participate. Here's how it works, we place our registration information, such as name and address. Then the moderator 'swap' the info in random with other member. One participant will get one address. Than we make the craft as the theme determined.

This time, the second craft swap was Coin Purse themed. This is what i got from Delia Prasisstia. Thank you.. *hugs

It was a beautifully hand-sewn coin purse. You might not believe it was a hand-sewn one. The stitching are so neat. The fabric combo is a great one too. I really love it. :D

What did i make for my partner, Retno Sumiati Bunda Fakhri? Since minions are so booming and they are all over the place, then i made one too. :)

Got a very rewarding response from her. She like it. Even her boys like it too. Lol.. Great relieving for me when someone like the craft i made. :)

Tutorial Menjahit Celana Piyama

Anak - anak tumbuh dan berkembang dengan begitu pesat. Namun, untuk ibu seperti saya yg 24/7 'menemani' Z, perkembangan itu tidak terlalu dirasakan. Tapi saat mengamati baju yg dipakai Z sehari - hari semakin pendek dan sempit, baru nyadar ternyata anaknya semakin tinggi dan berisi. :)

Postingan kali ini adalah tutorial membuat PJ pants, alias celana tidur, tapi... versi gampang, cepat, dan curang. Hahaha.. Gampang dan cepatnya, memang karena project ini terhitung mudah dikerjakan dan cepat diselesaikan. Dalam 30 menit, bisa deh jadi satu celana baru untuk Z. Curangnya karena guntingnya pakai gunting zig zag, jadi saya tidak perlu lagi obras bagian raw edge-nya. (Geez.. mohon dimaklumi, susah bener nyari translate istilah jahit menjahit, karena saya belajar otodidak dr blog luar, sebagian besar istilah jahit menjahit juga 'terpaksa' ngikut belajar istilah dari blog luar.

A Pincushion Story

As i remember, my pincushion is my very first project. Every seamstress needs one, right? Back then, i searched for many tutorials for making pincushion, and i fell in love with one lovely flower pincushion that can be worn on wrist. I decided to make one.

My pincushion turned out to be superb for me. I loved it so much. It sticks to my wrist almost on every sewing project. Now that i had used it for almost two years, i want another pincushion. Still the one that stick to my wrist and still the one with petals. Lol.. See, i really love this pincushion. So, yesterday i made another one. And i think i will keep the first one still. Not gonna throw it. :)

It was quite easy and quick project. Both machine and hand sewed. I think i would make the tutorial if i made another one. :)

Express Pizza

As i posted that i finally purchased an electric oven, I did a test run on it today. Made an Express Pizza. I call it express because it really quick to make one. Easy ingredients, quick process, even on topping. I used pre-made bolognaise sauce and mix it with tomato sauce, some beef sausages, and baked it.

This is the result. Not bad for first time pizza.
